A journey to the stratosphere

The SolarStratos project, led by eco-explorer and adventurer Raphaël Domjan and his team, aims to reach the stratosphere with a solar-powered airplane. Beyond the technical achievement, this project embodies a message of hope and inspiration, encouraging young people to dream of adventures and discoveries that do not harm our planet, without being moralistic. Our task is to broadcast this project to the world via platforms we know quite well.

For four years now, our team has been fully immersed in this adventure. It actively participates in the project’s monthly meetings, engages in major events such as VivaTech in Paris or the International Aviation Exhibition in Le Bourget, and provides weekly support through the various development phases and flight campaigns of the solar airplane. This closeness allows us to tailor strategies, broadcasts, and create live content, thus achieving long-term success.

Our communication strategy is immersive, viral, and interactive. To achieve this, we develop content that meets various objectives: A web series on all platforms narrating the story of SolarStratos from its inception, with 3 to 6-minute episodes filmed and edited in a cinematic style, allowing viewers to closely follow and engage with the project. Short, captivating, simplified, and immediate Reels for Instagram targeting the general public, achieving significant virality without paid media, and garnering millions of views today. Reportage photos and videos to explain and supplement project advancements, highlight the adventure’s sponsors, and experience a flight campaign live. Additionally, more corporate content better suited for LinkedIn.

With this approach, our web series averages 140,000 views per episode. On Instagram, we reach an average of 2.8 million people per Reel and have gained 7,500 subscribers in the last six months. On LinkedIn, we average 75 interactions (comments, likes, and shares) per post and over 5,000 impressions. We eagerly anticipate what’s next, and the stratosphere.
