A sweet success

Since December 2022, the historic Fribourg boutique has gained a new little sister: La Fabrik. From its conception to its opening, including the construction work, we closely followed and promoted the launch of this experiential store. This welcoming space, dedicated to meeting and sharing, in a didactic and sensory environment, conceived around the history of Villars, immediately inspired us.

The primary objective was to introduce this new space and spread our enthusiasm for this unique boutique while developing a healthy and engaged community on Facebook and Instagram, reaching a broad audience of chocolate enthusiasts through targeted advertising campaigns.

To generate interest among the people of Fribourg and passing tourists, we created and distributed a teaser video, adapted to the formats and conventions of each platform, announcing the imminent opening of the store and presenting its unique universe, an operation that was a great success reaching over 40,000 people. In the following weeks, we opted to create various types of content (photos, reels, stories, polls, etc.) to bring the Fabrik experience to the followers of Villars’ accounts. Finally, we conducted an “influencer” operation with Swiss personalities who were invited to discover the store and share their experience with their communities on their Instagram accounts.

Among our many successes, the increase in the number of followers on the brand’s Instagram account stands out, jumping from 7.5k to 13k in less than a year following this opening, and most importantly, a steadily rising foot traffic in La Fabrik.

A blog article summarizing a comprehensive market study confirms these figures by ranking chocolate brands that generate the most interactions across all social networks. Villars thus occupies the second position, surpassing names such as Lindt, Cailler, Milka, and Côte d’Or. These results confirm the good health of the brand’s social accounts and encourage us to continue this trend, with the upcoming release of new delicious and inspiring content!
