Live Coverage
For the eighth time, our team traveled to Zermatt to highlight the Matterhorn Ultraks, a name synonymous with 7 legendary races in the heart of the Swiss Alps over 3 days. This incredible challenge brought together more than 3,566 runners from all walks of life, ready to tackle the steep trails and breathtaking views of this spectacular valley. Our mission? To immortalize this unique event on social media, generate virality and engagement, while strengthening the brand and its presence in the ultra-competitive trail running world.
On Friday morning, our team, made out of two videographers and a project manager/community manager, woke up at 6:00 am to catch the sunrise over the famous Matterhorn.
We decided to post an initial video on Thursday evening to whet the appetite of the runners slowly flooding the station. The tone for the weekend was set. What followed were 22 videos over 3 days—a race against time for the teams who runned around every corner of the station.
The days were long and intense for our teams, who worked tirelessly from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm to cover the event from all angles and all altitudes. Between our headquarters—also known as the Race Office during the weekend—and various strategic points along the course, we did everything to capture the strongest emotions, from start to finish, from supporters to runners, without forgetting images of the emblem of this valley: the Matterhorn. We had to take gondolas, cogwheel trains, and funiculars to be everywhere at once and not miss any runner. Often, our office relocated to the great outdoors, on a train, or at the edge of the race track.
The result? More than 22 reels produced and shared in 72 hours to tell the story of the emotion that this station evokes. In terms of numbers, this represents: 3 days of filming/editing, 7 races, +2,300 followers, 32k average views per content, 409,708 accounts reached, and 10,965 interactions.
Thank you for the great weekend with you & all the results ! You guys are amazing !
